SEABORN — Bio

SEABORN is the new music project of Sean Coogan and Rob Miura, two seasoned Seattle artists.  The duo believes in the power of the album format to inspire passionate emotion, foster deep thought, and create transformative experiences.  In an apparent age of à la carte streaming and disjointed singles, SEABORN rejects the idea that music lovers have abandoned their appetites for long form material.  The band aims to prove that with their newly released album, Artifacts.

Artifacts is a meticulously layered, ever changing landscape that increasingly seems like echoes of a familiar dream with each revolving listen.  Recurring musical phrases and repeated lyrics float by, dressed in costumes of blissed-out shoegaze, jazzy hip-hop, cosmic Americana, and moody synthpop.  The album explores the role of art in shaping our relationship to society as it rises and falls in the revolving rhythm of time.  Each of these songs is an artifact, changing with each listen.
